Dresses Over Pants

Hello ladies, Dresses over Pants are a big trend this season. I was kind of like, “I don’t know if I will like a dress over pants” and then I tried and I loved it. I get so many compliments when I wear this trend. Especially if you pair it with a simple dress. It looks clean and more chic.

This fashion statement can also be a very practical way of dressing when transitioning between seasons when it’s not quite warm enough to go bare-legged. I live in Texas so our seasons are very indecisive, haha, but for those who live in the north sometimes spring doesn’t come around so this is great to get all the beautiful dresses that are out in the stores and wear them the right way.

My preference is to wear a dress over skinny jeans, tailored, cropped pants or slacks. But this is my style if you are more adventurous you can try a dress with wide leg pants or flare jeans.

Another easy way to master this great look is to try the dress with the kick flare jeans. This silhouette is a new trend for this season.

Maxi Dresses

This spring and summer we must have a floral or a bold maxi dress color for layering like the one I’m wearing in this post.

Finding a maxi dress it’s not easy for me, I’m 4’11”! everything is so long that I have to send it to the tailor or I need to order the petite sizes if the brand has it.

So when I find one that is perfect for me I have to have it! this one is a little be pricey but it’s totally worth it. I hope you like it 😉

This is a very versatile dress. The olive color is great because you can wear it with any color under it.

Below, I’m showing a different combination, layered with a black t-shirt, it can also be paired with a basic white t-shirt or a mustard- yellowish one or striped blue and cream, just to name a few cute ones, be creative and do your own combination.
